John Sirrelle

John was born in Birmingham but has lived in Highworth, Wiltshire for the past 25 years. He has an education degree in Design and is a Licentiate of City & Guilds. John is a member of several local art groups including: Faringdon and Lechlade Art Societies.

John has explored a range of media such as: pencil, oil, watercolour and acrylic. He currently works in a Mixed Media technique he has developed himself using: Chromacolour (acrylic), pastels and high quality coloured pencils.

John still enjoys occasionally painting many different subjects and in other media but in 2013 he decided to specialise in animal pictures, mainly in his Mixed Media technique.
