He is well known for his Cotswold Landscapes, especially around Winchcombe where he lives. Using mainly water colour and pastel, he has taught landscape techniques to classes and given talks and demonstrations to Art Clubs in the South West Midlands.

Robin has published his work as greetings cards and prints, exhibited in the U.S.A. and London Mall Galleries and held exhibitions at his home. He has been Artist in Residence at the Nature in Art Museum, Gloucester for many years and has illustrated EVERGREEN magazine, published in Cheltenham. He is a member of the Fosseway Artists, Blockley Art Society and, until recently, President of Winchcombe Art Club.

In recent years Robin has studied the works of JMW Turner and was able to reproduce his work, in water colour, using the artist’s original techniques.

Robin’s book, “Birds of Britain” is available direct from the author, at £8 including postage. With more than 80 illustrations ranging from Arctic Terns to Long-Tailed Tit, Magpie to Yellowhammer, the 168 page volume also details many species found in the British countryside.
