    Shelagh Powys-Hancox is a textile artist with a particular interest in combining the effects of various printing and painting methods with both hand and machine embroidery. She makes quilts and hangings as well as smaller framed pieces. She gained distinctions in City & Guild Embroidery Parts 1 & 2 and for an HNC in Stitched Textiles.
